HAKKIMIZDA
Türkiye'de ve Dünyada ilk defa yerel yönetimler düzeyinde 25 09 2020 tarihli İBB Belediye Meclisi kararı ile kurulmuştur.
Müdürlüğümüz; Büyükşehir Belediye sınırları içerisinde 5393 sayılı Belediyeler Kanunu ile 5216 sayılı Büyükşehir Belediyesi Kanunu ve yönetmeliklere uygun olarak imar planında yeşil alan olarak ayrılan park alanları, yeşil alanlar, koru alanları, kent ormanları, su havzaları, dere havzaları, göller sulak alanlar, ormanlar ağaçlandırma sahaları, karayolu şev alanları ile mevcut yeşil alanların bakımı, onarım ve korunması ile ilgili hizmetlerin planlı, programlı ve uyum içinde yürütülmesini sağlamakla beraber, kent ekosistemi ve yaban hayatının korunması ve geliştirilmesi ile ekolojik dengeleri gözeten bir çevre sunmak için çalışmaktadır.

Established for the first time in Türkiye and worldwide at the level of local administrations, pursuant to the decision of the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Council dated 25 September 2020.
Our Directorate operates in accordance with the Municipal Law No. 5393, the Metropolitan Municipality Law No. 5216, and the relevant regulations within the boundaries of the Metropolitan Municipality. Its responsibilities include ensuring the planned, programmed, and coordinated execution of services related to the maintenance, repair, and preservation of park areas, green spaces, groves, urban forests, water basins, river basins, lakes, wetlands, forests, afforestation zones, highway slopes, and other green areas designated as such in zoning plans. Furthermore, the Directorate works to protect and enhance the urban ecosystem and wildlife, while striving to provide an environment that safeguards ecological balance.
